Our Mission
Our primary goal is to implement a city model that promotes sustainable development and collaborative production while preserving Muğla's natural, cultural, and economic values. We aim to scientifically analyze the economic, environmental, and social dynamics of our city, develop data-driven plans, and implement these plans through collective intelligence. By establishing regional, national, and international collaborations, we seek to maximize Muğla’s potential. In this regard, we are committed to defining Muğla’s own sustainable goals, resilient to crises, utilizing resources efficiently, and ensuring participation from all segments of society.
Our Vision
We aspire to position Muğla as a city with a global vision, a showcase of social municipalism, and an international city. With the goal of becoming a Global City Muğla, we are preparing our city for the future through scientific and data-driven strategies, aiming to transform it into a model city managed with sustainable development principles that preserve its people and natural wealth. Our transparent and participatory governance approach, along with our open data principle, aims to elevate Muğla’s reputation on national and international platforms while building a city memory and strengthening social, cultural, and economic ties.
Our Working Method
MUPA operates by collecting data and information from the field, which is then analyzed and interpreted by our expert team. Based on the findings, we identify the needs through a systematic approach. Our working method serves as a model for a new business framework established in line with the vision of our Mayor, Mr. Ahmet ARAS.
