Muğla aims to be a pioneer in social municipalism and an international city. In line with this vision, the 2024 Election Strategy has been designed under the theme of "Global City Muğla." This goal will be realized through the Muğla Planning Agency (MUPA),a mechanism that continuously learns, shares what it learns, and acts together.

Established under the vision of our Mayor, Mr. Ahmet Aras, MUPA represents a new-generation business model introduced to Muğla. It is an innovative institution that shapes Muğla's future based on scientific data, collective intelligence, and solidarity. Founded in 2024 under the Muğla Metropolitan Municipality, MUPA aims to uncover the city's natural, cultural, and economic potential through scientific research, expert opinions, and public participation. MUPA is committed to the vision of transforming Muğla into a globally recognized showcase city, while preserving its historical and natural heritage through sustainable growth and development strategies. By combining technology, science, and social municipalism, MUPA strives to create strong collaborations between local governments, the public, and civil society to address Muğla's needs with an innovative planning approach.
